43rd Annual Tonkawa Tribal Pow-Wow

June 23rd, 2017 All Day - June 25th, 2017
Come out and experience the Tonkawa Tribal Powwow, an annual tribal celebration featuring Native American dancing, contests, crafts, artwork and food. Events will also include a Horseshoe tournament, Disc Golf Tournament, and a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament. Free camping, along with electric and water hookups, will be available. 24 Works on Paper

June 23rd, 2017 All Day - August 5th, 2017
"24 Works on Paper", a travelling exhibition of work by living Oklahoma artisits, will open to the public on June 23rd at the Ponca City Art Center, 819 E. Central Ave. The exhibition will then travel the state for over a year, bringing original, contemporary Oklahoman artwork to viewers in communities large and small. 4th Annual Fish Fry for the Small Fry

Ponca City Aviation Booster Fly-in Breakfast

The event is held the first Saturday of the month Breakfast menu includes eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, pancakes, biscuits, fruit, orange juice & coffee. The cost is only $7 for adults & $4 for children. The groups provides grants to 11 area schools to help with items kids don't have, including shoes, underwear & coats. The Standing Bear Powwow begins on Friday evening with gourd dancing, followed by a majestic procession known as the Grand Entry. On Saturday, gourd dancing begins in the early afternoon and continues throughout the day. Food vendors and artisan booths featuring Native American arts and crafts are ever-present.
