2020 BisonBison Film Festival

2020 BisonBison Film Festival Goes Online: In response to the Covid-19 outbreak, the 2020 BisonBison Film Festival: A Student Competition (BBFF) will be a live streaming event on the website: www.BisonBisonFilmFestival.org. The student films will be posted live the evenings of Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4, starting at 7:00pm CST.

The Duttons at the Poncan Theatre

The Duttons consist of 3 generations of amazing talent. They have been recording, performing and touring together professionally for over 20 years. The adult Duttons started out their musical training as classical musicians, but it didn’t take long for them to branch out to play just about any style of music. Along with the classical, they play pop, country, bluegrass and gospel. That ability to adapt and play just about any style of music is just one of the things that makes them so unique.

20th Annual Cowboy Ball

May 2nd, 2020 All Day
The Cowboy Ball will be held at the PCDA Hanger at the Ponca City Airport this year. Only 200 tickets will be sold to this event and every ticketholder will have the chance to win one of 10 Major Prizes as well as enjoy an evening of dinner, dancing, silent auction and entertainment for two. The cost of the tickets are $200 and $150 is considered a tax deductible donation. The Cowboy Ball is Peachtree's only fundraiser.

Draggin' Grand Car Show

Come to Ponca City's annual Draggin' Grand Car Show and browse through a wide variety of classic and vintage cars displayed throughout the downtown area. Classic cars, hot rods, customs and muscle cars are welcome to participate. Spectating is free and encouraged. Trophies will be handed out and food vendors will be present.

27th Annual Ponca City Herb Festival

The Ponca City Herb Festival is held the first Saturday in June each year with free admission on the grounds of the beautiful Cann Memorial Botanical Gardens, a 10-acre showcase of exquisite landscape architecture. You will enjoy the radiant colors and aromas of blooming flowers, brick walkways, water features and a variety of ornamental plants, shrubs and trees during your visit to the festival.

101 Wild West Rodeo

The 101 Wild West Rodeo will be held at the 101 Ranch Rodeo Arena, located on West Prospect avenue at North Ash Street.The 2020 Rodeo will mark the 61st running of the rodeo honoring what historians have described as the birthplace of rodeo - the once mighty 101 Ranch. The fabulous 101 Ranch, with a 50-year history both rich and tragic, influenced Oklahoma and agriculture like no other ranching operation in the world.

Ponca City Mainstreet Brewfest

27th Annual Standing Bear Powwow

September 25th, 2020 All Day - September 26th, 2020
The Standing Bear Powwow, hosted by the six north-central tribes of Oklahoma, is held the last Friday and Saturday of September. It features inter-tribal dancing, exhibition dancing, contest dancing, tiny tot contests and the crowning of the Standing Bear Princess. Visitors will also find a variety of arts and craft vendors, along with a wide variety of food vendors. This free event in Ponca City is open to the public.
