City Hall

 Ponca City is home to one of the most beautiful city halls in the United States. Designed by Solomon Andrew Layton (architect of the Oklahoma State Capitol Building), City Hall was first built as the City Auditorium in 1916. In 1922 the east and west wings were added and the building became known as the Civic Center, housing city offices and the police and fire stations.

Kids Arbor Day Coloring Contest

January 3rd, 2019 All Day - March 6th, 2019
Register between January 3rd and February 1st. Judging will take place between February 2nd and March 1st with the winners posted at RecPlex. There is no charge, PreK-K, 1st-2nd grades and 3rd-5th grades. Coloring sheets will be distributed to the schools.

Computer Classes at Ponca City Library

February 4th, 2019 All Day - March 11th, 2019
Classes will take place every Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. starting February 4th though March 11th. Register for classes at Ponca City Library reference desk. Class size is limited to 10, for more information contact Aaron Gray at [email protected] or by calling 580-767-0345.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

March 8th, 2019 All Day - December 10th, 2018
Beginning Friday March 8th at 5:30 PM, at the Ponca RecPlex with instructor Cassy Kendrick, $135.00 fee that includes manual, registration begins January 3rd and ends February 12th. Ages 16 and up.

The 39 Steps by Patrick Barlow, presented by Ponca Playhouse

March 15th, 2019 All Day - February 24th, 2019
March 15-17 & 22-24, ,John Buchan's "The 39 Steps," adapted by Patrick Barlow was Broadway's longest running comedy, and now it's coming to the Ponca Playhouse, directed by our own Sam Dunbar Stuart. Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 1st (members can reserve beginning February 20th). Ticket prices are $15 for adults, $10 for students. Mark your calendars now... you won't want to miss this hilarious show!
