For over six decades, Ponca Playhouse has been the heart of community theater in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Now celebrating its 66th season, the Playhouse continues to bring high-quality theatrical productions to the local community. As the longest-running community theater in the region, Ponca Playhouse has fostered a deep appreciation for the performing arts, providing opportunities for both seasoned and aspiring actors, directors, and stagehands to showcase their talents.

A Home for the Arts
Ponca Playhouse is more than just a theater—it's a creative hub. The black box theater features a welcoming lobby area, a green room, and an extensive costume and prop shop. With seating for 120 guests, a dedicated box office, and extra practice areas, the Playhouse ensures a professional and immersive theatrical experience. The facility also boasts excellent fiber-optic internet access, making it an ideal venue for workshops, meetings, and private events when productions are not running.

Preserving the Playhouse
Like many arts organizations, Ponca Playhouse has faced challenges in recent years, including the impact of the pandemic and storm damage to its building. A new roof and additional repairs are needed to maintain this treasured venue. Donations from patrons and community members are greatly appreciated to help restore and preserve the Playhouse for future generations.

Costume & Prop Rentals
Ponca Playhouse houses an extensive collection of costumes, wigs, hats, accessories, and vintage props, including era-appropriate electronics and glassware. These items are available for theaters, themed parties, and special events. Whether you're putting on a period production or planning a unique celebration, the Playhouse has something to enhance your event.

​Sponsorship & Advertising Opportunities
Support from local businesses and corporate sponsors plays a vital role in sustaining the Playhouse. Sponsorships start at $500 for individual show sponsors and extend to $2,000 for season sponsors, which include logo placement on printed materials and complimentary tickets. Businesses can also purchase ad space in Playhouse programs, ensuring exposure to audiences throughout multiple performances.
