This trail is over 7.2 miles long and features some technical rocky sections, along with some good, fast, flowing sections. This is not a beginner trail, but there are some bypasses for less-experienced riders in the more difficult areas. The parking area for this trail system is at the Muskrat Maze trailhead.

KAW LAKE
Known as the Five Fingers and Eagle Viewtrails, these trails are a hidden gem of Kay County. The Five Fingers trail stretches from Sarge Creek to Burbank Landing for approximately 17 miles, and if the loops that deviate from the route and lead back to it are included, it spans 76 miles. The Eagle View trail stretches from Osage Cove to Burbank Landing for a total of 12 miles. The trails are open for horseback riding, walking and non-motorized vehicle use. If patrons wish to ride horseback, they must bring their own horses.

The Lake Ponca course has open holes with sporadic trees and great views of the lake. War Memorial is short with sloping terrain and Willow Springs features large old growth trees and plenty of hills with a signature finishing hole over the pond.

580-767-0430 Swimming in Lake Ponca is only permitted dawn to dusk in designated areas which are: The area of water enclosed by a line of buoys on one side and the shore of the lake nearest the line of buoys on the other side and posted by signage permitting swimming. The area of water between the water-side front edge of a permitted or city owned dock and the lake shore.

Still intact are the original locker rooms and pool maintenance equipment, like the sand filtration system. Walking down those historic tile steps, one can easily imagine children of the 1930's and beyond walking down to store their belongings in their assigned baskets near the restrooms and retrieve their towels to go swimming in the grand pool.
